We’re based in Bangalore, building a global product. Prehearsal is a speaking coach platform that helps people practise interviews, pitches and workplace conversations before they happen for real.
We’re looking for an early-career videographer who can turn ideas into stories, then help shoot and edit them. You’d work directly with the founder, Pooja Bhaumik, so your ideas shape how each launch looks and feels.
The content we want to make
Think warm, short videos with the product woven creatively into the story, not polished SaaS ads.
We want people to enjoy watching a product launch video for the story first. The product should feel like a natural part of it.
What you’ll work on
- Turn product launch ideas into stories worth watching
- Help plan and shoot each video
- Edit the final cut, including pacing, sound and captions
- Work directly with the founder from idea to final video
What we’re looking for
- Early in your career, with work you’re proud of. We care less about your CV than what you’ve made
- You can both shoot and edit, owning the right equipments and softwares to do so
- You have a feel for cinematic storytelling, not just nice-looking shots
- You’re based in Bangalore and can travel to shoot locations in and around HSR at least 3 to 4 days a month
The details
- Location
- Bangalore, with no office. Shoots are on location, in and around HSR, at least 3 to 4 days a month
- Type
- Contract role for someone early in their career, not a full-time job
- Gear
- Bring your own camera gear, editing software and any other software you need. We don’t pay for these separately
- Trial
- A 2-day paid trial project on November 20 and 21, in Ulsoor, for a fixed fee (hard deadline)
- After the trial
- A monthly fee, agreed upfront, for a 2 to 3 month test
How it works
- Apply below with your best work and your rate.
- If it looks like a fit, we’ll have a quick chat and get you onboarded.
